THE STANDARDS
WE BOTH UPHOLD.

These terms govern every engagement between Varchasva and its clients — domestic, international, wholesale, and bespoke. By placing an order with Varchasva, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to these terms in their entirety.

Product Authenticity

All products sold under the brand VARCHASVA are handcrafted, original, and created with premium seasoned teak sourced from Sankheda, Gujarat. Every piece reflects the artistic legacy and craftsmanship of named artisans. Each piece carries a Certificate of Authenticity documenting the artisan's name, wood origin, and creation date. No two Varchasva pieces are identical — this is a characteristic of handcraft, not a defect.

Pricing Policy

All prices are final and non-negotiable. Varchasva does not offer discounts, bargaining, or price adjustments. Our pricing reflects the value, quality, time, and uniqueness of each handcrafted piece. All prices are exclusive of GST and shipping — final invoice will include all applicable taxes and logistics charges. International prices are quoted in INR unless otherwise agreed in writing.

Order Confirmation & Payment

Orders are confirmed upon receipt of advance payment only. Standard payment terms:

Domestic orders — 50% advance to confirm, 50% balance before dispatch
Export orders — 70% advance to initiate production, 30% balance post-inspection before dispatch
Bespoke commissions — 50% advance at concept approval, 25% at production completion, 25% before dispatch

Once confirmed, orders cannot be modified or cancelled beyond the 48-hour window stated in the Refund Policy. All payments via UPI, bank transfer, or wire transfer. International payments in freely convertible foreign currency only.

Intellectual Property

All designs, fabric prints, brand identity elements, images, and content associated with VARCHASVA are the exclusive intellectual property of Varchasva Traders. Unauthorized use, reproduction, adaptation, or distribution of any Varchasva design, image, or brand element is strictly prohibited and will be pursued under applicable Indian and international intellectual property law. The fabric designs commissioned exclusively for Varchasva's product lines are protected and may not be reproduced by any third party.

Certificate of Authenticity & Provenance

Every Varchasva piece is accompanied by a Certificate of Authenticity at the standard level and a Certificate of Provenance for Bespoke commissions. These certificates document the artisan's name, wood origin, creation date, and piece number.Certificates are issued in the buyer's name at time of delivery and are non-transferable in their original form. A re-certification service for secondary market transfer will be available in future. Any attempt to forge, replicate, or fraudulently use a Varchasva Certificate is a legal offence.

Photography & Documentation Rights

Varchasva reserves the right to document any installed piece for brand portfolio and archival purposes — with prior written approval from the client for each specific use. No client name, property name, or location will be shared publicly without explicit written consent. Clients who wish to share images of their Varchasva piece publicly are encouraged to tag the brand — but are not obligated to do so.

Care & Maintenance

Teak is a natural material — its beauty deepens with care and time. All Varchasva pieces are finished with melamine sealant for protection. Avoid prolonged exposure to direct sunlight, excessive moisture, or harsh chemical cleaners. A care guide is provided with every piece. Varchasva is not liable for damage caused by improper care, inappropriate installation, or environmental factors post-delivery.

Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These terms are governed by the laws of India. All disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of courts in Ahmedabad, Gujarat, India. Both parties agree to attempt resolution through good faith negotiation before initiating legal proceedings. For international clients — Indian law governs all contractual matters unless a separate governing law is agreed in writing at time of order.
